Family Group

Family Group

Today within the public sector, many organisations and particularly councils choose to enter into an agreement with a number of other councils to share information and data openly with each other.

Epaycheck recognises that its subscribers may wish to extend this arrangement into their pay benchmarking service. By default Chief Officer data in epaycheck is fully open but reports containing workforce category data will be provided from epaycheck in an anonymised format. However a subscriber can opt to share workforce data openly with other selected subscribers through an epaycheck 'Family Group'.

This facility means that when comparing data within a 'family group' the subscriber will be able to see the identity of the data owner’s organisation when generating a report. The data available for Epaycheck reports does not include any personal data.

'Family groups' are set up by a Regional Administrator or System Administrator. A number of 'family groups' are already in place and details of these are available from your Regional Administrator. Alternatively, a group of subscribers who wish to enter into a new 'family group' to share data can contact their Regional Administrator and ask for this to be set up. Once all relevant parties have responded with appropriate authorisations to openly share data the new group will be set up.
